GenesisCare, a leading Australian cancer‑care provider, needed to better protect sensitive patient health and financial data. Head of Information Security Mike Kleviansky built an in‑house cybersecurity function and sought a partner to secure email—the organisation’s most vulnerable attack vector, responsible for the majority of breaches.

GenesisCare implemented Mimecast’s Advanced Email Security alongside security awareness training and a Cyber Champions Program, using AI, deep URL and QR detection to block phishing, ransomware, BEC and supply‑chain threats. The combined technology and training strengthened email defenses, built a company‑wide culture of awareness and helped prevent any major cybersecurity incidents.
