Newman Martin and Buchan Limited (NMB) is a London Market specialist broker for commercial energy, marine and reinsurance business that relies heavily on timely, secure email for client communications. Despite using Mimesweeper, NMB was overwhelmed by persistent spam — including Dictionary Harvest Attacks — which drained staff time and risked service disruption by forcing users to manually triage messages and manage quarantines.

Mimecast deployed a cloud-based email service using ARMed SMTP reputation checks and browser-based continuity, eliminating nearly all spam at the source and removing the need for quarantine folders. The implementation was fast and hands-on, restored reliable email access during outages, reduced bandwidth and administrative load through attachment linking, and freed IT and staff to focus on core work while maintaining secure, recorded email transactions.
