Intercontinental Trust Limited (ITL) is a Mauritius-based financial and fiduciary services provider that handles sensitive financial, company, and personal data for banks, investment managers, private equity and high‑net‑worth clients. After repeatedly seeing spam, phishing and social‑engineering emails bypass its incumbent email security, ITL needed to strengthen its cloud email defenses to prevent data loss and financial fraud.

ITL trialed Mimecast’s Targeted Threat Protection through local partner Grove and then signed a three‑year agreement. During the trial and within three months of deployment the company reported a significant reduction in spam, 95% of email issues resolved, and restored confidence that client and corporate data are protected while staff continue working productively.
