Snap Finance Uses an Incydr + Wrike Context Flow to Protect Data During Employee Departure

Snap Finance, a growing digital-finance company serving merchants with consumer financing and rent-to-own options, faced a rising risk as its remote, global workforce expanded: limited visibility into how sensitive data moved across users, devices and apps, especially during employee offboarding. Without that context, the company worried that confidential customer information and intellectual property could be exfiltrated when staff left.

To address the risk, Snap Finance deployed Mimecast Incydr and automated a departing-employee workflow using an Incydr + Wrike flow. HR flags departing staff in Wrike, Incydr automatically labels them with a “Departing Employee” indicator, and security analysts receive prioritized exfiltration alerts to take right-sized responses. The result: faster detection of risky behavior during offboarding, reduced risk of IP or customer data loss, and stronger protection of the company’s competitive position and customer trust.
