Case Study: ZERODEGREES Microbrewery achieves remote multi-site monitoring and improved security with Milestone Systems (XProtect)

A Milestone Systems Case Study

Preview of the ZERODEGREES Microbrewery Case Study

ZERODEGREES microbrewery and restaurants use Milestone XProtect IP video surveillance and Axis network cameras to keep a check on the business from other locations via remote access

ZERODEGREES is a UK microbrewery and restaurant chain with multiple locations that needed reliable, remotely accessible video surveillance to meet licensing requirements (30-day footage retention), deter theft and disorder, and allow managers to monitor sites from other cities without traveling. With busy venues and several managers per site, the challenge was to give easy, secure access to live and recorded images and usable evidence when needed.

They deployed Milestone XProtect software with Axis network cameras (and an Axis 241Q server for older analog cameras), providing 24/7 web access, motion-detection recording to reduce storage load, and easy scalability and integration with tills. The result: managers can quickly view and review footage remotely, police have commended the system’s evidence quality, incidents and internal theft have fallen, and the solution proved flexible and simple to manage.
