Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) serves more than 10,000 K–12 students across 300 square miles and 26 buildings, and needed a single, scalable security solution to protect students, staff and public property after years of stand‑alone systems. District leaders sought a customizable, district‑wide video management platform that would allow authorized personnel to monitor activity across campuses and respond quickly to incidents.

ROK Systems completed the final phases of a Milestone XProtect Corporate deployment—adding more than 200 cameras for a total of over 1,000, centralizing alarms, access control and video streaming via a federated architecture, and provisioning 19 monitoring stations with robust servers and storage. The rollout was seamless, staff “Champions” were trained, evidence export became fast and reliable, and the district now has a scalable, future‑proof system that has improved monitoring, incident response and overall campus safety.
