Black Hills State University needed a centralized video security system to improve campus safety and streamline operations across its main campus and satellite location. Milestone Systems implemented an open platform video management solution that unified security across the campus, including residence halls, parking lots, and other key areas. The result was a flexible infrastructure built around 80 network cameras, giving BHSU easier expansion potential and a foundation for adding new cameras and analytics as needs evolve.
