SIMS Metal, a division of the global SIMS Group with numerous recycling yards in Northern California, was facing a surge in theft of valuable non‑ferrous metals and needed continuous, reliable monitoring across large outdoor sites. They also had to comply with changing local and federal rules requiring identification and tracking of all individuals and vehicles selling scrap materials.
