Securing NASCAR races and the Firefly Musical Festival

Dover International Speedway, home to NASCAR races and the Firefly Music Festival, needed a reliable way to monitor large crowds, traffic flow, and safety conditions across its 800-acre site. The venue uses Milestone Systems’ video management solution, including Milestone XProtect Mobile and Milestone Husky network video recorders, to support around-the-clock public safety operations and event-day oversight.

Milestone Systems helped Dover International Speedway centralize live video from IP cameras, smartphones, and partner agencies into a Joint Operations Center where law enforcement, medical teams, and transportation officials can collaborate. The result is faster decision-making, better crowd and gate management, and improved coordination across more than 800 staff on race weekends and over 1,200 people per day during the festival.
