Zepcam, together with the Regional Monitoring Room (RTR) in Nijmegen, tackled the challenge of improving public order monitoring and incident response for large events and daily operations. The RTR needed a way to integrate fixed and mobile camera feeds from police and emergency services, provide live, shareable images for control rooms, and deliver reliable evidence while enabling preventative supervision across multiple stakeholders.

The solution combined Zepcam T1 live bodycams with Milestone XProtect® video management at the RTR, enabling HD live streaming over 4G and seamless sharing of fixed and mobile feeds. Deployed across the Vierdaagse event and daily monitoring, the system improved situational awareness, had a visible deterrent effect, sped up emergency interventions, and provided clear, admissible footage for investigations—while the open Milestone platform allowed easy, flexible onboarding of partners.
