Port of Livorno, the largest seaport in the Mediterranean, needed a way to manage the high volume and variety of people, vessels, and cargo moving through its terminals while also monitoring safety, environmental risks, and entry/exit points. Milestone Systems implemented a scalable video platform using 200 optical and thermal cameras, with integrations for license plate recognition, container recognition, facial recognition, and environmental sensors.
