National Eagle Center uses IQinVision and Milestone IP video technology donations to stream eagles live

The National Eagle Center in Wabasha, Minnesota — a 15,000 sq. ft. interpretive center home to four rehabilitated bald eagles and a golden eagle — wanted to expand access to its programs by streaming live footage of the birds and classroom presentations so people who cannot visit could watch daily care, lectures and demonstrations.

Using a five-camera system that included three donated IQeye HD megapixel cameras, network hardware from Tapemark, HP servers and Milestone XProtect software, with integration by Up‑n‑Running Consulting and Grant Jensen, the center now streams four perch cams and a classroom cam. The high-quality video has boosted engagement, lets long-distance visitors follow their favorite eagles from morning to evening, and broadens the center’s educational reach.
