Milestone Husky NVRs Protect Dunkin’ Donuts Restaurants

Dunkin’ Donuts opened in Iceland in 2015 and quickly grew to multiple busy city-center locations in Reykjavik, where graffiti and late-night vandalism threatened brand appearance, costs and employee safety. With plans to expand further and branch managers who aren’t IT specialists, the chain needed a scalable, easy-to-use video solution to deter damage, speed investigations and support daily operations.

Security Center Iceland installed Milestone Husky M30 NVRs running XProtect VMS with eight–ten Vivotek cameras per restaurant and an intuitive XProtect Smart Client available in the local language. The system delivered zero incidents of defacement, reduced cleanup costs, increased staff safety, simplified incident review, and offers scalable options for expansion and added uses like quality control, training and POS integration.
