MeyersUSA opened the Michelin‑recognized Agern and the high‑traffic Great Northern Food Hall in Grand Central Terminal in 2016, serving 4,000–5,000 guests a day inside a landmark that sees some 750,000 people daily. The historic, 150‑year‑old building imposed strict preservation rules (no drilling, removable installs), while operations required comprehensive coverage for liability, theft control, employee safety and real‑time POS integration.

CK Technology implemented a single integrated IP network running Milestone XProtect Corporate, about 90 Axis HD and panoramic cameras (including wireless 360° units), Ruckus wireless and MICROS POS, using Zipstream compression, virtual fisheye views and Active Directory for user management. The solution enabled POS‑video overlays, remote/local monitoring, proactive safety coaching, a minimal physical footprint to meet landmark constraints, and easy scalability to new sites—improving security, operational oversight and system reliability.
