Kebun Baru, an integrated senior care facility in Singapore, needed a way to monitor vulnerable elderly residents living alone and respond quickly to falls or distress while still protecting privacy. Milestone Systems implemented a privacy-masked video solution integrated with AI and sound analytics from Senturian Solutions, enabling caregivers to detect incidents without exposing detailed personal images. The system uses silhouettes and metadata instead of full video detail, helping improve PDPA-compliant privacy protection while sending accurate alerts for faster intervention and support.
