Groupe Mutuel, one of Switzerland’s largest insurance companies, needed a discreet, cost‑efficient video surveillance system to ensure a safe working environment across multiple agencies. The project had to be flexible enough to link eight branch locations and a headquarters (30 cameras) to central monitoring in Martigny, provide high‑quality evidential images, and avoid disrupting the company’s competitive position.

John Lay Electronics and TSA Telecom deployed an IP‑based solution using Panasonic network dome cameras and Milestone XProtect® Enterprise with local servers at each site and centralized live viewing and recording. The system delivers high‑resolution, 22x‑zoom pan/tilt imagery, browser‑based remote access, fast export of evidence and IP intercom integration via the Milestone Matrix plug‑in—resulting in an integrated, scalable, low‑training solution that improved deterrence, incident resolution and overall cost effectiveness.
