The School of Continuing Education at Chinese Culture University, a large multi-campus institution in Taipei serving over 20,000 students, faced inefficient analog CCTV systems at each division that required on-site tape retrieval or mailing to view footage. This setup prevented real-time remote access, complicated archive management, and drove up time and manpower costs.

SCE migrated to an IP-based Axis network video solution—using AXIS 2400/2400+ video servers to digitize existing analog cameras, AXIS 206 and 2130 network cameras, Milestone XProtect software, and implementation support from Alpha Pricing—enabling centralized, real-time inter-division and inter-campus monitoring. The new system simplified maintenance and expansion, reduced operational costs, proved reliable over three years of operation, and strengthened campus security and safety.
