Hampton School, a private day school of 1,300 boys in southwest London, needed to secure its entire perimeter after a series of thefts and a major ICT upgrade made the site a more attractive target. The school set a goal of 100% perimeter protection across multiple sites and engaged Milestone Systems and partner Kent CCTV to design a technology-driven solution.

The analog CCTV was replaced with a pure IP video system centered on Milestone XProtect Expert, deploying 85 Axis, Sony and Mobotix cameras plus license-plate recognition, biometric access control and Milestone Mobile for remote monitoring. The integrated solution records all vehicle and pedestrian access, automates gate entry for authorized plates, enables mobile incident response, and is highly scalable—delivering full perimeter protection, tighter security and improved operational efficiency.
