Erste Bank uses Milestone IP video platform to protect 139 locations across the Ukraine

JSC Erste Bank Ukraine, part of the Erste Group, needed to protect its widespread retail network and improve service quality, fraud prevention and operational control across more than 135 branches. The bank required a scalable surveillance solution to monitor customers and business processes at 139 locations ranging from 100–250 m² and to reduce the need for frequent travel between sites.

Erste Bank deployed Milestone XProtect (Enterprise and Central) across 140 servers to manage 1,300 network cameras (Axis, Sony, IQinVision, JVC and others), giving both local branch and central headquarters control. With 27 users operating the system, central monitoring cut travel and response time, improved oversight of incidents and operations, and recorded over 20 non-criminal incidents—including ATM vandalism and a fraudster who was later arrested.
