Jelling Music Festival needed a better way to keep 40,000 festivalgoers safe across entrances, stages, and campsites while managing crowd surges, first-aid incidents, and the risk of fires. The festival partnered with Milestone Systems and used XProtect Corporate video management software, XProtect Smart Wall, and XProtect Smart Map, along with analytics and thermal cameras, to improve visibility and response.

Milestone Systems implemented a centrally managed video solution with 60 cameras, mobile video push for roving staff, people-counting analytics, and fast review tools to support crowd control and fire prevention. The result was smarter monitoring, more accurate crowd counting, quicker dispatch of first responders, improved smoke and fire detection, and more reliable vehicle access planning through upcoming LPR integration.
