Arthur Phillip High School in Parramatta engaged integrator Independent Locksmiths & Security to address growing safety and access challenges across its split campuses and busy urban location. With more than 1,500 students and a newly upgraded school network, APHS needed a scalable, networked security solution to replace an unreliable analogue system, secure 130 doors and gates, and integrate perimeter control with daily operations under a Secure Schools grant.

The team deployed Milestone XProtect Enterprise with Axis encoders and Mobotix/Axis IP cameras, and Crow AcNet Pro for access control, tying gates to the school bell and adding soft-button control on the VMS plus mobile monitoring for staff. The integrated system delivered clear video coverage on a six-screen video wall, remote gate control, easier footage retrieval and sharing, improved classroom attendance and behavior, and a flexible platform for future expansion.
