The Medical Equipment Loan Closet, a Denver-based nonprofit, helps people who can’t afford needed medical rehabilitation equipment, but it faced challenges keeping its volunteer team connected—especially during the COVID-19 disruptions. The organization needed an affordable, easy-to-use communications system to coordinate volunteers working from different locations, and it turned to MightyCall.
MightyCall provided a web-based phone system with incoming call transfers to volunteers’ cell phones, allowing the team to answer calls and manage donations, inventory, pickups, and repairs remotely. With MightyCall, the Medical Equipment Loan Closet kept about 25 volunteers connected across separate locations and continued serving the community effectively despite closures and ongoing post-pandemic challenges.
