Autonomous Creative Collective is a paid membership site created by cartoonist Jessica Abel for serious artists who struggle to make time for their creative work and often procrastinate. After trying a Facebook group and Slack, she found that her online course needed a better community experience and a more sustainable way to deliver value and grow beyond a limited number of cohorts, so she moved to Mighty Networks.

With Mighty Networks, Jessica launched a combined course-and-membership model for The Creative Focus Workshop, including a paid alumni community, live coaching, themed content, and structured weekly engagement. The result was strong growth and engagement: she built a community of 250+ members, converted about 50 alumni at a discounted rate, and added 80 new members in a later launch, while also finding that members supported each other so well she could step away for two weeks without the community losing momentum.
