Meet the brother-sister duo creating a flourishing community for over 7,700 artists

ArtSnacks, the art supply subscription box founded by siblings Lee and Sarah Rubenstein, needed a way to bring its fast-growing subscriber base together in one branded space instead of across noisy social platforms. Using Mighty Networks, they launched ArtSnacks Mix as a dedicated community where members could share work, ask questions, get feedback, and connect around monthly art challenges.

Mighty Networks helped ArtSnacks create an invite-only community that later opened to the public with a $0 paid membership, while adding challenges, topics, courses, and live events to drive participation. The result was strong engagement and growth: ArtSnacks Mix reached more than 3,000 members in eight months and has since grown to over 7,700 members, while also helping boost ArtSnacks subscriptions and inspire new business ideas like a kids box.
