How Versed is Rewriting Poetry Class with Mighty Networks

Versed, a community for readers and writers focused on poetry, needed a better way to move beyond passive content delivery and create deeper discussion and connection among members. Founder Adam Walker first hosted the community on Patreon, but wanted a platform that put community first, and he chose Mighty Networks for paid memberships and courses.

With Mighty Networks, Versed added live events, discussion threads, community spaces, chat rooms, and file sharing in an ad-free environment that encouraged member-to-member conversation. The transition was highly successful: nearly all original members moved over, the community grew to 270 members, and Adam recouped the few losses within three weeks of relaunching, with plans to reach 500 members and make Versed his full-time focus.
