How Financial University doubled its members in a year

Financial University, a paid membership and community focused on financial literacy, wanted a better way to move beyond social media posts and create a more structured, supportive space for its growing audience. Founder José Hernandez, who built his following as The Millennial Money Mentor, needed a platform that could turn casual followers into engaged members while providing courses, resources, and community around personal finance.

Using Mighty Networks’ Launch Plan, Financial University launched a paid membership with courses, Topics, and bi-weekly Zoom calls to support deeper discussion and learning. The result was rapid growth: the community grew from over 200 members in November to more than 1,090 members today, while Mighty Networks helped José package his content into a valuable, accessible membership offering that members were willing to pay $299.99 for.
