Cardinal Metal Works, a precision sheet metal fabricator, was hampered by a homegrown ERP that provided poor visibility, heavy manual data entry, frequent errors and no technical support—making quoting and production planning inefficient. In 2005 they selected MIE Solutions’ MIE Trak Pro to replace the inadequate system and address those core challenges.

MIE Solutions implemented MIE Trak Pro with dashboard visibility, automated data/EDI/CAD imports and dedicated support, enabling real-time shop-floor tracking, fewer manual errors and faster, more accurate quotes. As a result, Cardinal Metal Works more than quadrupled annual sales (from $2M to $10M), expanded headcount from 20 to 60 employees, reduced downtime and maintained operations through the 2009 downturn.
