US Healthcare Insurance Provider, a major integrated managed care consortium serving more than 9 million members across nine states and the District of Columbia, needed to upgrade out-of-support IBM WebSphere Message Broker, WebSphere Application Server, and WebSphere MQ environments while reducing cost, risk, and manual effort. The company faced an estimated 15 person-years of work and more than 300 manual, error-prone steps per environment, making compliance and operational consistency critical. MidVision provided MidVision Extensions to IBM Rational Automation Framework along with configuration and implementation consulting support.

MidVision implemented an automated migration and environment-build solution using Rational Automation Framework plus MidVision Extensions for WebSphere Message Broker and MQ, helping the client complete upgrades faster and with full auditability. The result was improved compliance, real-time reporting, and more accurate, reliable, and consistent environment configuration, while reducing the time required to establish new environments and boosting administrative productivity across nearly 350 existing broker/MQ environments and 250 new ones.
