USA Millwork is a newly formed national architectural woodwork firm combining four regional manufacturers to deliver turnkey casework and millwork for large, complex projects. To standardize processes and improve coordination across locations, USA Millwork uses Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microvellum Software’s design engineering program—an AutoCAD-integrated solution—to help move work between facilities and unify company-wide communication and collaboration.

Microvellum Software’s open-architecture design engineering system, with configurable product libraries, modeling/analysis tools and reporting, was implemented to simplify design and value engineering and enable cross-site workload transfer. According to USA Millwork, Microvellum Software has improved coordination, sped project handoffs between locations and supports their goal of delivering complex jobs on time and on budget; the case study reports these operational improvements qualitatively but does not provide numeric metrics.
