A MicroTech Case Study
MicroTech supported the Social Security Administration (SSA), a large federal agency serving more than 110,000 users across 1,800+ sites worldwide. SSA needed enterprise IT and telecommunications support, including LAN/WAN services, server and desktop support, and voice services as it transitioned critical communications from the FTS 2001 contract to Networx.
MicroTech implemented and managed the SSA Voice Services Team’s communications environment, including audio conferencing, long-distance calling card, toll-free long-distance, and fax services, while also supporting CAPRS application needs and a Cisco 2900 tech refresh. The result was a highly successful transition that put SSA in the lead among major government agencies, earning the 2010 OTSO Associate Commissioner Award for Voice Services, CAPRS Application Support, and Cisco 2900 Tech Refresh.
