Fort Belvoir - Customer Case Study

MicroTech worked with Fort Belvoir, supporting the Directorate of Information Management as it managed both classified and unclassified infrastructure under an elevated security posture. The customer needed help with systems design, integration, operations, maintenance, and secure access modernization, including PKI-based remote access and email infrastructure upgrades.

MicroTech implemented a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) secure remote access Single Sign On HSPD12 initiative, built Exchange 2003 backend and bridgehead infrastructure, and deployed Symantec E-Vault for email archiving. As a result, MicroTech migrated 14,000 mailboxes from more than 15 separate Exchange 5.5 environments to the new platform and became the IT services provider for most federal agencies connected with Fort Belvoir.
