Three UK - Customer Case Study

Three UK, a fast‑growing UK mobile provider covering more than 97% of the population with 324 retail stores and offices in Maidenhead, Glasgow, Reading and New Zealand, needed to rebuild its IT infrastructure and digitally transform its workplace to better connect distributed teams and adopt agile ways of working. To drive that change the company chose Office 365 and introduced Microsoft Teams to support long‑distance collaboration and virtual teamwork.

Using Microsoft Teams as a chat‑based hub, Three UK formed small “circles” of 5–9 people that collaborate with Microsoft Planner and integrated SharePoint Online, OneNote and Power BI workspaces; this eliminated the need for third‑party tools like Slack, Trello and Google Hangouts, accelerated Office 365 adoption across the business, increased team productivity and agility, and strengthened data security through Office 365 and Azure Active Directory.
