A Microsoft Teams Case Study
TANAS Concrete, a family-run ready‑mix company in Alberta, faced chaotic, paper‑based plant operations, noisy dispatch rooms, an aging VoIP system, and difficulty coordinating a seasonal mobile workforce. Working with AMG Services and Microsoft representatives, the company adopted Microsoft Teams as part of a broader Microsoft 365 Enterprise deployment (including Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneNote, Planner and Microsoft Intune) to modernize communication, collaboration, and device management.
Using Microsoft Teams for VoIP and document sharing, plus SharePoint/OneDrive, Planner and OneNote, TANAS replaced paper workflows with cloud collaboration, standardized Surface devices, and began rolling out Intune for mobile security. The Microsoft Teams–centered solution reduced noise and interruptions in dispatch, cut errors and extra trips by improving coordination, sped access to critical documents and HR tracking, and made staff more efficient and satisfied. Microsoft Teams played a central role in delivering those productivity and security gains.
