TalkTalk, a UK telecommunications provider, needed to modernize its work culture and technology to enable creative, collaborative, and flexible working across sites in London and Manchester. Constrained by legacy email and conferencing tools and a centralised office model, TalkTalk turned to Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 Enterprise to give employees secure, cloud-based tools for remote and on-the-go collaboration.

Using Microsoft Teams alongside Microsoft 365 components (Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Skype for Business Online, Intune and FastTrack migration support), TalkTalk migrated email, moved 1.3 million files (4.2 TB) to OneDrive, and rolled out Office 365 to nearly 99% of employees. The Microsoft Teams-led deployment drove a 20% increase in Skype for Business adoption in three months, enabled roughly 40% of staff to work flexibly, achieved 100% retention for a relocated team, and improved security with Litigation Hold, Intune and Azure AD controls—accelerating decision-making and fostering a more collaborative culture.
