Storytelling community uses cloud solutions to expand reach, share experiences through technology

Future of StoryTelling, a small division of Melcher Media that runs an invitation-only summit and year-round storytelling programs, faced fragmented tools and slowing internal processes as it grew. Working with Solace IT Solutions, the organization turned to Microsoft Teams as part of a Microsoft 365 Business deployment (including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Surface devices and other Office 365 services) to centralize information and enable real-time collaboration.

Solace implemented SharePoint Online for centralized storage and Microsoft Teams for chat, meetings, and project collaboration, alongside OneDrive, Azure Video Indexer and Surface hardware; security was strengthened with Azure Active Directory and Intune. As a result — driven largely by Microsoft Teams adoption — FoST cut cancelled or missed internal meetings by 33%, increased real-time collaboration on OneDrive by 27%, reduced internal peer-to-peer email by 24%, achieved 89% employee Teams usage during the workweek, and indexed 100+ hours of content.
