Pacers Sports & Entertainment shoots for a modern workplace with cloud-based productivity tools, device management, and security

Pacers Sports and Entertainment, a 300‑employee sports and entertainment organization, faced an IT team overwhelmed by day‑to‑day end‑user support and needed to modernize its workplace with cloud productivity and secure device management. To address this, PS&E adopted Microsoft solutions—working with Microsoft Teams and deploying Microsoft Managed Desktop alongside Office 365 ProPlus, Windows 10, Azure Active Directory, Intune, OneDrive, and Surface devices—to standardize tools and move to a cloud‑based, modern workplace.

Using Microsoft Managed Desktop and Microsoft Teams, the vendor implemented device configuration, security monitoring, app deployment, update management, and user support, imaging and deploying more than 100 Surface devices across the company. The deployment gave scouts and staff seamless mobile access via Azure AD and Intune, eliminated time‑consuming provisioning, freed the eight‑person IT team to focus on strategic initiatives, and delivered a more secure, stable, and productive workplace with measurable gains in deployment scale and IT capacity.
