Georgia’s largest healthcare provider benefits from its new modern workplace

JSC Evex Medical Corporation, the largest chain of hospitals in Georgia and part of Georgia Healthcare Group, faced slow onboarding, complex licensing and inefficient collaboration because it relied on a mix of on‑premise, proprietary and free internet software. To modernize securely and standardize tools across its nearly 10,000‑employee organization, JSC Evex Medical Corporation engaged Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office 365 implementation experts, adopting Office 365, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive to replace fragmented systems.

The vendor implemented a phased Office 365 migration, moving over 3,200 users onto the cloud and rolling out Microsoft Teams as the main project platform while using OneDrive for secure document storage. As a result, IT onboarding and data safety improved, Teams is widely trialed across departments (HR and IT already using it extensively), and the organization is positioned to cut heavy email volumes—reported as high as 300 emails per day—and boost productivity through shared documents and processes with Microsoft Teams.
