A Microsoft Teams Case Study
Play’n GO, an international gaming company that expanded rapidly across Sweden, Malta, the UK, Hungary, and the Philippines, needed a way to give all employees a secure, productive workplace without investing in many onsite servers. The company standardized on Microsoft 365 (including Office 365, Windows 10 Enterprise, and Enterprise Mobility + Security) and Surface devices, and adopted Microsoft Teams as its primary communications and collaboration platform to connect dispersed teams.
Working with partner WeSafe IT, Play’n GO migrated services to Azure VMs, implemented Azure Active Directory and Intune for security and device management, and rolled out SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Stream, Delve and Surface hardware so Microsoft Teams could serve as the hub for meetings, channels, and onboarding. The Microsoft Teams-centered solution was quickly adopted, boosting collaboration and productivity, improving security and GDPR readiness, reducing IT troubleshooting time, and freeing IT to focus on higher-value work.
