Endemol Shine Group, the global producer behind Big Brother, needed to refresh the show's brand and dramatically streamline production of 24/7 multicamera footage. Working with Microsoft Teams, the company sought a cloud-based solution to automate scene selection, avoid tedious manual review of hours of raw video, and enable remote, scalable editing and IoT-driven creative ideas.

Microsoft Teams helped deploy a serverless Azure-based workflow using Azure Media Analytics (speech-to-text, face and motion detection), Azure Media Services for encoding/subclipping, and Azure Cosmos DB with Azure Logic Apps and Functions to orchestrate processing. The solution indexes footage and returns precise timestamps in seconds—allowing producers to locate specific clips instantly, replace manual logging, speed up production, free creative resources, and position the format for wider rollout across territories.
