El Camino Real Charter High School prepares students with future-ready skills

El Camino Real Charter High School in Woodland Hills, California, needed a future-ready edtech platform to give its 3,600+ students workplace-ready skills and stronger STEM/STEAM collaboration. To move beyond Chromebook limitations the school adopted Microsoft Education solutions on Windows 10 devices—deploying Microsoft Intune for management and Microsoft Teams for classroom collaboration and communication.

Using Windows 10 laptops together with Office 365 and Microsoft Teams, El Camino achieved a 1:1 student-to-Microsoft laptop ratio, enabled installation of specialized non-web science and arts applications, and drove strong staff adoption of Teams for teaching and administration. The Microsoft Teams–enabled rollout has turned the school into a showcase for other districts, while the school continues to maintain high performance metrics (98% attendance, 95% graduation) and improved student readiness for college and careers.
