A Microsoft Teams Case Study
Dhour Shweir Public Secondary School sought to improve access to quality education and better prepare students for future opportunities by integrating technology into classrooms. In collaboration with Microsoft Teams and using Windows 10 and Office 365, the school moved from a 2011 pilot to a full one-to-one e‑learning model across grades 7–12, aiming to make learning more visual, interactive, and equitable.
The vendor solution—centered on Microsoft Teams along with OneNote, Math apps, Windows 10, and Office 365—provided tablets for each student and tools for real‑time collaboration and productivity. As a result, student engagement and teacher–student interaction increased, day‑to‑day performance and official exam scores improved (confirmed by a school study), and students became more productive and enthusiastic about learning.
