Consultancy firm improves communications and cuts cost with cloud services

Revel Consulting, a Seattle-based digital consultancy of about 200 people, faced fragmented communication, data silos and rising IT overhead as it scaled a distributed workforce. To unify channels and improve collaboration, Revel turned to Microsoft cloud services — notably Office 365, OneDrive for Business, Dynamics 365 and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.

By centering its platform on Microsoft Teams and other Microsoft services, Revel created a single source of truth with OneDrive, automated insights from Dynamics 365 via Power BI dashboards in Outlook, and enabled instant cross-team and client collaboration in Teams. The Microsoft Teams–driven solution reduced IT workload (recovering 10–12 hours of IT productivity), sped onboarding and time-to-value for projects, improved companywide data consistency and insights, and accelerated client approvals and delivery.
