Collaboration Game Changer Skype for Business Online and Microsoft Teams are keeping Mott MacDonald connected

Mott MacDonald, a global engineering and consulting firm with 16,000 employees across 140 offices, needed to overcome time-zone barriers and high travel costs to keep distributed teams connected. Using Skype for Business Online for real-time voice, video, chat and screen sharing and implementing Microsoft Teams as a single, cloud-based workspace (integrating Word, Excel, OneNote, OneDrive and SharePoint), Mott MacDonald achieved a more consistent, secure and scalable collaboration environment. The result: productivity “has gone up substantially,” meeting travel costs have been almost eliminated, and extended on-site deployments (formerly up to six months) can be significantly reduced or avoided. Microsoft Teams helps knit geographically dispersed teams together and simplifies access to people, content and tools.
