Case Study: SPL Ports de Menton achieves faster, seamless customer service and improved collaboration with Microsoft Teams

A Microsoft Teams Case Study

Preview of the SPL Ports de Menton Case Study

Cloud-based collaboration helps ports meet customer expectations on the French Riviera

SPL Ports de Menton, the operator of two harbors on the Côte d’Azur, needed to unify collaboration, security, and customer service for its roughly 25 employees who work between offices, the docks, and onboard vessels. To enable mobile access, real‑time coauthoring, and better data protection, the port adopted Microsoft Teams alongside Office 365 services including OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online.

Working with partner Avangarde, Microsoft Teams and the Office 365 suite delivered chat, cloud storage, coauthoring, and fine‑grained permissions so staff can access the latest documents from any device. The rollout shortened project timelines (work that used to take a month now completes in about three weeks, and one small project gained a week), eliminated versioning problems, improved customer responsiveness, and generated clear productivity and cost‑savings for SPL Ports de Menton.
