Case Study: Build-A-Bear achieves greater employee productivity and secure collaboration with Microsoft Teams

A Microsoft Teams Case Study

Preview of the Build-A-Bear Case Study

Build-A-Bear - Customer Case Study

Build-A-Bear, a large U.S. retailer known for creating memorable in-store experiences, needed to empower employees, improve guest and associate service, and reduce IT overhead while enabling a flexible digital workplace. To meet those goals they adopted Microsoft Teams as part of a broader Microsoft 365 strategy (including Office 365, Dynamics 365, Azure Active Directory, Enterprise Mobility + Security, and Windows 10).

Using Microsoft Teams as the collaboration hub, Build-A-Bear moved marketing work from Google Docs to Teams with Excel Online for real-time coauthoring and mobile access, and used Azure AD (with Microsoft FastTrack) to tighten security and manage access. The Microsoft Teams-centered deployment delivered more efficient cross-team collaboration, stronger control over corporate content, reduced IT overhead, and greater employee productivity and flexibility — with faster migrations and easier updates across the Microsoft 365 environment.
