BDO Canada LLP, a leading accounting and advisory firm, was struggling to manage internal IT projects and resources after outgrowing an internally built tracking tool. To adopt a scalable, cloud-friendly portfolio management approach the PMO selected Microsoft Project Online and integrated it with Office 365 tools—using Microsoft Teams as the collaboration hub and leveraging Microsoft Flow, SharePoint Online, and Power BI as part of the solution.

Using Microsoft Teams alongside Project Online, the vendor’s implementation automated workflows, centralized schedules and reporting, and gave managers up-to-date resource views and portfolio analytics.
