A Microsoft Teams Case Study

Preview of the Wavemaker Case Study

Advertising giant improves employee productivity and satisfaction with cloud collaboration solution

Wavemaker, the global advertising giant headquartered in London with 138 offices in 90 countries, faced inefficient, email-driven collaboration and fragmented file stores after the merger of MEC and Maxus. To unify its IT and enable more creative, mobile work, Wavemaker adopted Microsoft solutions—notably Microsoft Teams along with OneDrive for Business Online and SharePoint—supported by partner Addin365’s Work Hub and onboarding methodology.

Wavemaker implemented Microsoft Teams as the central communications hub and moved files to OneDrive and SharePoint via Office 365, using Addin365 to drive adoption. The result: 100% of onboarded employees use OneDrive and Teams, more than 3,500 employees (50% of staff) were onboarded in six months across markets representing 80% of revenue, and employees estimate saving roughly 20 minutes a day (up to about half a day per week) through real‑time coauthoring, better mobility, stronger security, and higher satisfaction—driving measurable productivity gains with Microsoft Teams at the core.
