A Microsoft Teams Case Study
Adventist Health System, a large U.S. health provider with more than 80,000 employees, needed to shift from hospital-centered care to a consumer-centric model that supports mobile clinicians and frontline staff with secure, fast access to information while staying HIPAA‑compliant. To address these challenges they adopted Microsoft technologies—most notably Microsoft Teams alongside Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows 10 Enterprise and Enterprise Mobility + Security—to modernize collaboration and device management.
By deploying Microsoft 365 (28,000 E3 and 41,000 F1 licenses) and Microsoft Teams as a central collaboration hub, Adventist Health System brought chats, files, meetings and planning into one secure, compliant place; Microsoft Intune simplified BYOD enrollment and mobile email provisioning; and licensing changes reduced costs. The Microsoft Teams–led solution now manages thousands of devices, sped up communication and care coordination, cut support tickets and support overhead, and delivered measurable improvements in security, compliance and staff productivity.
