Matador, a Slovak automotive supplier that evolved from a tyre maker into a design and development contractor with about 800 employees, needed to replace aging Windows 7/8.1 desktops to ensure stability, compatibility and easier domain administration ahead of Windows 7 end-of-support. The company’s challenge was to unify hundreds of networked PCs on a modern, manageable platform without disrupting operations.

Matador deployed Windows 10 Enterprise across roughly 800 devices and began adopting Office 365, Dynamics CRM Online and SharePoint. The migration was smooth, older machines were successfully upgraded, users reported faster performance and better battery life, and staff quickly adapted thanks to familiarity with Windows 10; the company is also testing Windows 10 tablets for Industry 4.0 and considering broader mobile adoption.
