International aid arrives faster and more efficiently with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations

Chemonics is an employee-owned international development consulting firm (founded 1975, ~4,000 staff working in 70+ countries) that must rapidly stand up field offices and meet stringent U.S. government contracting and audit requirements. Its legacy, site-specific systems hampered real-time collaboration, forecasting, and resource planning, so leaders sought a cloud-based, unified core system to span the project lifecycle and link project management, HR, procurement, budgeting, billing, and records.

Chemonics chose Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations (with Dynamics CRM, Office 365, SharePoint) and implementation partner SAGlobal to deliver an integrated, cloud solution configurable for online/offline use and rapid office setup. The platform provides real-time data and Power BI visibility, reduces manual re-entry and administrative overhead, improves employee satisfaction, and enables faster, more efficient delivery of aid; rollouts across field offices and full project and records management were underway in 2017–2018.
